I was commissioned to design a more kid-focused take on the Knoxville Ice Bears’ mascot, created specifically for retail and merchandise. The design leans into simpler shapes, brighter energy, and more expressive features to make the character feel fun, friendly, and easy to recognize at a glance. The goal was to keep the team’s identity intact while making the mascot more approachable for younger fans, something that would translate well across shirts, stickers, and shop items.
